Copyright) (Received July 5, 11.40 a.m.) LONDON, July 4 The latest Bank of England returns are: — Issue department—Notes in Circulation £608,100,000, notes in the banking department £22,100,000, other Government securities £615,TOO.OOOj other securities £2,800,000, silver coin £500,000. Banking department—Rest £3,400,000, public deposits £16,600,000, bankers’ deposits £140,100,000, other accounts £48,800,000, Government securities £171,200.000, discounts and advances £5,400.000, other securities £23,200.000, notes and coin £23,600,000. Ratio of reserve to liabilities, 11.47 per cent. The Bank of England discount rale remains unchanged at two per cent.
