(Received July 3. 9.10 a.m.) LONDON, July 2 i Before the open-air investiture ! ceremony in the quadrangle at Buckingham Palace the King received Mr.l Warburton Lee in the Palace and handed over the Victoria Cross ' awarded to her late husband, Captain Warburton Lee, of H.M.S. Hardy. His Majesty later decorated members of the services for gallantry in Norway and France, including Paymaster - Lieutenant Standing, of H.M.S, Hardy, who was limping on crutches when lie received the decoration of the D.S.O.
