Fewer Hotels There were now fewer public house licenses in New Zealand than there were in the ’eighties of the last century, said Mr T. Jordan, president, at the annual conference of the Municipal Association of New Zealand at Wellington. This position was not peculiar to Wellington, said Mr Jordan. He added that he believed that the whole licensing question in New Zealand wanted tackling from top to bottom.
