WAR WILL CONTINUE

DETERMINATION OF GERMANY AIRMEN READY TOR WORD OF COMMAND NAZI ARMY TO STRIKE DECISIVE BLOW (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received March 2, 1 p.m.) BERLIN, March 1 After Mr Welles’ arrival the Berlin Official News Agency issued a statement that the war is continuing until Germany secures a vital lebensraum and freedom of the seas. The News Agency proceeds to strike the balance of six months of war, including German measures against the blockade. She is beginning to put England in the position in which the latter vainly tried to put Germany. The German army is ready for a decisive blow which will put in the shade all existing conceptions of military striking power. It adds that neutrals will he sacrificed if they allow themselves to become Britain’s auxiliaries, which will not compensate the Allies for what Germany has gained in Rus-sian-German friendship. This keeps Germany’s back free and also guarantees the Germans against starvation. Leading Nazi officials and Gauleiters are arriving in Berlin for a conference. Inspired Nazi comment emphasises that Germany is not making a peace offer. It adds that the German Air Force is ready for action and is waiting for the word of command.
