ORDEAL OF THE CREW ADRIFT FOR TEN HOURS NINE MEN MISSING (United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received March 2, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, March 1 An Italian steamer was mined in the North Sea. Two lifeboats were washed ashore on the east coast. The first contained nine men, who were completely exhausted and had little clothing. One was dead. The second boat carried six men, including the pilot, and had been adrift for ten hours. Nine of the crew are still missing.
