Copyright) NAIROBI, Feb. 23 Lieutenant-General Baden-Powell, after celebrating his 83rd birthday, expressed his heartfelt thanks for the avalanche of greetings from scouts and girl guides from the Empire and many other countries. BANK OF AUSTRALASIA PROFIT OF £292,024 DIVIDEND OF 8 PER CENT (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 23 The Bank of Australasia made a net profit of £292,024. The sum of £227,879 was brought in. A final dividend of 44 per cent was decided on, making 8 per cent for the year.
The sum of £237,106 was carried forward.
