PIGEON RACING
FLIGHT FROM WANGANUI The Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club held its third young bird race on Saturday from Wanganui, an airline of 150 miles. The weather conditions continued unfavourable, a hard race resulting. Results:—L. Cooper’s B.C. 994 (743yd5.), 1; L. Mond’s B.C.H. 965 (738yds.), 2; L. Grogar’s Blk.C. 591 (475yd5.), 3: J. Purcell’s R.C. 699 (472vd5.), 4. Next week’s event will be flown from Feilding.
