Copyright) (Received Feb. 16, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 15 The latest Bank of England returns are:— Issue Department—Notes in circulation £531.600,000, notes in the banking department £486,000.000, other Government securities £536,800,000, other securities £47,000.000, silver coin £500,000. Banking department: Rest £3,500.000, public deposits £39,200,000, bankers’ deposit £105,600.000, other accounts £40,600,000, Government securities £126,100,000, discounts and advances £4,700,000, other securities £23,100,000. notes and coin £49.400.000. Ratio of reserve to liabilities, 26.25. The Bank of England discount rate remains unchanged at two per cent.
