Copyrlgnt) (Received Feb. 16. 3.15 p.m.) BOMBAY, Feb. 15 The election ol an eminent Muslim, Maulana Azad, to the Presidency o£ the forthcoming National Congress can be regarded as a big victory for Mahatma Gandhi. Maulana Azad opposes Nazism and favours Indian participation in the war if a settlement can be reached between the British Government and the Congress. Mautana Azad defeated a Communist, who advocated winning independence by any means, including violence.
