SECRET SESSION
CHAMBERLAIN’S ASSURANCE GERMAN REPORT UNTRUE. NO LEAKAGE OF INFORMATION (Official Wlrele3s) (Received Feb. 16, 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 15 In the House of Commons Mr G. Mander (Labour) asked whether Mr Chamberlain would make it clear that the report of the secret session of the House of Commons appearing in the Hamburger Tremdenblatt was a fabrication and that no disclosure had been made or printed in any journal. Mr Qhamberlain, replying, said the only report of the proceedings was the one issued under the authority of the Speaker, and he was confident that there had been no disclosure of the proceedings. It would be evident to any member present that the article referred to was not based on any authentic information, but had been put together purely for propaganda purposes. Mr J. Davidson interjected, amid laughter: “ If the article were not accurate, was it not much more interesting than what actually occurred?”
