BOWLS AT TAURANGA TE AROHA IN SEMI-FINAL (Bv Telegraph.—Special to Times) TAURANGA, Thursday The Tauranga Bowling Club's annual open tournament was concluded to-day, the Carlton rink skipped byRoberts proving successful. Following were the results of postsection play: Carlton (Proud, Elliott, Blighting, Roberts), 24, v. Auckland (Burton, Smith, Parker, Walker), 11; St. Heliers (White. Price, Moore, Russell), 21, v. Carlton (Whittaker, Rodgers, Clark. Lancaster), 9; Tauranga (Guinness. Mirrielees, Lewis, Tamblyn), 26, v. Gisborne (Waite, Kendrew, Beckett. Crowley), 13; Te Aroba (Bliss, Bailey, Maingay, Rosenfeldt), a bye. Semi-finals.—Tamblyn. 19, v. Russell, 15; Roberts, 27, v. Rosenfeldt, 19. Final—Roberts, 19, v. Tamblyn, 9. The winners will hold the Pascoe Cup.
