Copyright) (Received Feb. 16, 9.45 a.m.) PERTH, Feb. 16 The Inter-Dominion Trotting Championships were continued last night. Despite muggy and threatening weather there was a large attendance. Interest is keen over the match between Icevus and Logan Derby next. Monday over a mile, the objective being a new Australian record. Both horses hold a new record for a mile and a-half. The programme includes i a match race for horses in the cham- ! pionship series and for the first time in Australia there will be a flying start. The present mile record is 2.2, established by Lawn Derby in Sydney last week. Results of the Inter-Dominion Championship, two miles, first division of £375: Grand Mogul (N.Z.), 12yds, Anderson, 1; Master Dixie (N.S.W.) limit, Chant, 2; Evicus, 12yds (Tasmania), Young 3; ten started. Grand Mogul took the lead at the last lap and won by three yards from | Master Dixie who was under the j whip. Evicus was fifteen yards back I third. Kolect, Western Australia, | was fourth. Time 4.23. Grand Mogul j cut the State record held by Evicus |by half-a-second. Master Dixie was favourite. Icevus (N.Z.) led most of the way but Our Glove challenged at the home turn and won by a yard and a-half with six yards between second and third. Icevus, who broke at the far turn, was fourth. Inter-Dominion championship, third division of £375; 2 miles; Main Derby (Victoria), limit, Butcher, 1; Logan Derby (Tasmania), 36yds, Stamford, 2; Radiant Walla (N.S.W.), limit, Wallis, 3; eight started. Main Derby made the pace throughout. At the third lap Logan Derby flashed through the field but the leader withstood the determined challenge and won by eight yards. Logan Derby, under the whip, finished five yards in front of Radiant Walla. Prince Dalla was fourth. Time 4.2sScratchings were the New Zealanders, Uenuku, whose shoulder trouble is persisting and Supertax, who has broken down.
