INCREASE IN REVENUE INCOME TAX, £281,351,000 OUTLAY ON SUPPLY SERVICE (United Press Assn.— Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 13 The British income tax, which is estimated to yield £390,000,000 for this financial year, has so far produced £281,351,000, and the surtax to date has returned £48,700.000, against the estimate of £70,000,000. Last week £40,741,000 was collected in income tax and surtax.

The total ordinary revenue amounts to date to £836,396,888, compared with £743,648,977 collected to the corresponding date last year. The total ordinary expenditure amounts to £1,028,032,833, including, for the supply service, £799,984,032. This sum does not, however, take into account issues out of borrowed money under the Defence Loans Acts, which are to amount to £427,162,000 in the current year. The Civil Estimates

The civil estimates for the year ending March 31 total £1,802,600. They include £400,000 for the secret service and £200,000 for export credits.
