Feb. 13 The Labour movement for a “ war vigilance committee,” to assist workers in their difficulties arising out of the war, is generally regarded in London as an idea which should be instituted throughout the country. Inevitably war brings a mass of regulations and restrictions, to say nothing of such problems as rationing and evacuation. In addition, it is hoped that the committee will provide machinery whereby workers’ opinions and grievances can be speedily vwaUUted.
