NOVEL ENTERTAINMENT
* NIGGER MINSTREL SHOW Under the auspices of the Hamilton Ladies’'‘Entertainment Committee, the National Entertainers presented a very novel, entertaining and amusing programme to the troops at the Hopu Hopu camp recently. The programme which was of a very high standard was carried out in the form of an old-time minstrel show with full costumes and effects, so that it was impossible to recognise any individual member of the party. The solos, duets, cross patter and harmonising numbers which were varied, were evidently appreciated, judging by the applause which followed each item. After the official programme members of the Entertainers took charge in the leading of a very hearty Community Sing.
