BIG CONVERSION LOAN
OPERATIONS IN BRITAIN (omcral Wireless) RUGBY, Feb. 13 As the result of the announcement on January 17 of a new loan by way of conversion of the existing £350,000,000 4£ per cent loan, the actual applications for conversion amounted to £236,000,000 and for repayment £99,000,000. The offer of January 17 was to repay on July 1 in cash, or, if the holders preferred, to give them the option in the new conversion loan at par.
