TE RAPA TRACKS

STRONG WORK EXECUTED Following heavy rain overnight and early this morning the going on the No. 1 grass and sand tracks at To Rapa this morning was sloppy and cutting out and consequently no horses were sent above strong threequarter pace. Those horses that did not race at Rotorua were galloped yesterday and there should be a busy programme to-morrow for the final trials. P. A. SWNEY’S TEAM TEAM ARRIVING TO-MORROW The Te Aroha team of Mr P. A. Swney, Golden Sheila. Foxmond, Foxtoon and Yolifox will make the trip through to Hamilton tomorrow. All are in forward condition for racing at the Warkato fixture.
