LATE LORD TWEEDSMUIR
TRIBUTE FROM PRESBYTERY NEW ZEALAND SYMPATHY (Special to Times) AUCKLAND. Wednesday A tribute to the life work of the late Lord Tweedsmuir, GovernorGeneral of Canada, was paid by the Auckland Presbytery at a meeting last night. “He was a man who rendered long and distinguished services to our Empire,” said the moderator, the Rev. P. Gladstone Hughes. “Our Church has been specially privileged to nurture such a man, who was an elder for 30 years.”
