Petrol For Show Exhibitors
Special facilities petrol licenses will be given to exhibitors at agricultural and pastoral shows, according to information received by Mr W. F. O’Donnell, managing secretary of the Auckland Metropolitan Agricultural and Pastoral Association and secretary of the Northern district council of the Royal Agricultural Society from the oil fuel controller at Wellington yesterday. The decision was welcomed, said Mr O’Donnell. who stated that if names of exhibitors were forwarded to their local controllers by show secretaries sufficient petrol would be made available for them to attend events.
