PIGEON RACING
FLIGHT FROM OHAKI'XE The Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club held a race on Saturday from Ohakune, an airline of 110 miles. The birds were liberated in rain, with a headwind prevailing, a strenuous race resulting. Results:—J. Purcell’s Blk.H. 6G3 j (634yds) 1, L. Mond’s B.H. 650 (633yds) 2, W. Aitken’s B.H. 990 (630vds) 3. C. Crabb’s B.H. 702 (519 yds) 4. Next week’s event will be flown from Wanganui
