OTAGO WINS
PLUNKET SHIELD MATCH MARGIN OF 58 RUNS (By Telegraph.—Press Association) DUNEDIN, Tuesday Only half an hour’s play this morning was sufficient to conclude the final Plunket Shield match of the season between Otago and Wellington, Otago winning by 58 runs. Wellington’s innings ended for 211 runs, a feature being a sparkling effort by Whyte, who did not seem in the least perturbed by Wellington’s dim hope of making the 95 more runs necessary for a win.
