Mrs Hugh Douglas. Hamilton, is on a short visit to Wellington. Mrs C. Thompson, Bruntwood, is spending a holiday at Raglan. Mrs Goddard Jackson, Hamilton, is on holiday at Matamata. Miss Betty Furby, Ashburton, has taken up her residence in Hamilton. Mrs C. Quickj Hamilton, has returned from visiting her daughter, Mrs M. W. Horton, Feilding. Mrs Roland Watson, Dunedin, is visiting Hamilton as the guest of Miss Nancy Gaze. Miss Jean Coulthard, Hamilton, is on holiday at St. Heliers Bay, Auckland. Mrs A. B. Austin, Sydney, and Mrs G. H. B. Green, Singapore, are guests at the Hotel Midland. Mrs E. Abbey, and Miss M. Abbey, Auckland, are visiting Hamilton as the guests of Mrs M. A. Hodgson. Mrs K. Taylor, Orakei, Auckland, is the guest of her sister, Mrs W. N. Perry, Bruntwood. Mrs Colin Taylor, Hamilton, accompanied her sister, Mrs H. P. Blundell, on her return to Christchurch. Miss Joyce Coombes, Hamilton, accompanied by Miss Zoe Turnwald, Ohaupo, has returned from a motor tour to Wellington. Miss D. E. Menzies, Lady Superintendent of the Waikato Hospital, has left for Wellington to attend the annual conference of the New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association. A meeting of members of the Lyceum Club will be held on Tuesday, February 20 at 2.30 p.m., with the object of forming a Red Cross circle. Miss Jean Wilson, Auckland, is visiting her mother, Mrs Colin Wilson, Hamilton. Miss Wilson has been recently successful in gaining the final section of her B.Sc. More than 60 cases of clothing have been packed and dispatched abroad for the relief of evacuees in England, Poland, Finland and Turkey. These have been made up by members of the Red Cross Society in different parts of the Dominion and by a special staff of packers at the Dominion headquarters in Wellington where parcels from private donors are still being received. FENCOURT Mrs M. Duckering, of the Goodwood School, has returned from a visit to Wellington. Miss Rhoda Brown is visiting Rotorua. Mrs A. M. Macky and Miss Mary Macky are visiting Waihi Beach. Mrs A. M. Whitford, Wellington, is staying with her mother, Mrs W. Harbutt. Miss Grace Foster, who has been spending her holidays with her mother, Mrs R. Foster, has returned to Te Kopuru, Bay of Islands.
