MAD HATTERS’ DANCE
WAIKATO REBEKAH LODGE There was a good attendance of officers and members of the Matua Waikato Rebekah Lodge No. 75 I. when they held their fortnightly meeting recently. The noble grand, Sister F. E. Morrow, presided. After the closing of the meeting a Mad Hatters masquerade dance was held. Sister F. E. Morrow won the women’s prize for the maddest hat, and Bro. J. P. Coulter was the men’s prize-winner. Two novelty dances were won by Sister K. Wallace and Mr W. Nickle, and Sister J. Watson and Bro. A. Searle. Excellent music was supplied by the lodge orchestra. During the evening supper was served by members of the social committee. Among those present were:—Mesdames M. Otto, V. Warneford, L. S. Webster, F. Leitch, M. Searle, F. E. Morrow, A. Cusack, R. Libeau, D. DeLacey, H. Silvester, A. Larsen, K. Wallace, J. Warneford, E. Campbell, T. Musgrove M. O’Neill, M. Earle.
