SUFFERS A RELAPSE GREAT ANXIETY IN CANADA PRAYERS FOR RECOVERY (Official Wireless) (Received Feb. 12, 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 11 According to a message from Ottawa, this morning’s bulletin from the Montreal Neurological Institute states that Lord Tweedsmuir has suffered a relapse. The statement has caused grave anxiety throughout Canada and prayers for His Excellency’s recovery are being said in churches of all denominations throughout the Dominion.
A conference of five specialists decided an immediate blood transfusion and a third operation. The donor of the blood is believed to be Lord Tweedsmuir’s son Alastair.
