RESIGNATION OF MEMBER EAST BELFAST BY-ELCTION (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, Feb. 8 A member of the House of Commons, Mr John Jones, has resigned his seat owing to ill-health. In the East Belfast by-election, the Conservative, Mr H. P. Harland, was returned unopposed. He replaces Captain Dixon, now Lord Glentoran.
