Y.M.C.A. CO-OPERATION SOUGHT (Dy Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday After a strong reiteration of the fact that the National Patriotic Funds Board and its advisory body, the National Patriotic Council, were autonomous, with full power and control not only over the methods of raising funds but also over their expenditure, Mr R. li. Nimmo, chairman of the standing committee of the council, addressing the Y. M.C.A. Optimists’ Club yesterday called for the wholehearted co-operation of members of the Y.M.C.A. in the campaign to raise £IOO,OOO In the Dominion, to be handed to the Patriotic Funds Board and expended solely for the benefit of the troops in New Zealand and overseas.
