OLD-TIME COMEDIAN
DEATH OF HARRY BEDFORD POPULAR SONGS RECALLED The old-time variety comedian Harry Bedford died recently at Epsom, England, at 66 years of age. He had been ill for three months. His career extended over 40 years, his last stage appearance being made about three years ago. He composed many ditties, his most famous being “ A Little Bit Off the Top.”
