An Outsize in Eels
An outsize in fresh water eels was taken from the Pareora River, South Canterbury, over the week-end. The monster had been seen several times J so a resident armed with a potato ! fork speared and killed it alter a j struggle. It weighed 271 b, had a ! girth of 17 inches, and was 4ft 10in i long.
