MORRINSVILLE FUNCTION
KITCHEN EVENING A kitchen evening arranged by the United Football Club, in honour of Miss C. Ban and Mr J. Hishon, was held in the Masonic Hall, Morrinsville, recently. Dancing and community singing were enjoyed, music for dancing being supplied by the Morrinsville orchestra and extras by Mrs G. Lingard and Miss J. Keatinge. Songs by Mr R. Young, who was also master of ceremonies, were much appreciated. Mr G. Lingard apologised for the absence of the president of the United Football Club, Mr W. Dench, and asked Miss Ban and Mr Hishon to accept the large array of gifts. Among those present were:—Mesdames Hishon, G. Lingard, I. Ban. Misses C. Ban, W. Timperley, M. O’Connor, N. Corbett, A. Munro, A. Matheson, N. Allat, A. Brown, J. Young, J. Keatinge, M. Smith, G. Young, S. Peterson, F. Hishon, L. Clarke, Carrie Ban.
