Orr Stakes, of £IOOO, seven furlongs, at the Williamsfown Racing Club’s Summer Meeting on Saturday are:— Ajax, 9.5: Manrico, 8.13: Adios, Maikai, 8.5; High Caste, 8.2; Landlaw, 8.0: Reading, 7.13; Amiable, 7.10; Kanuri, 7.9: Magic Circle, 7.8: The Albatross, 7.3: French Legion. 7.0. The race will be notable for the meeting of Ajax and High Caste. There is considerable speculation as to whether the Victorian champion, whose health is now reported to be good, will triumph over the former New Zealander.
