INJURED FIRST DAY
CHILD STARTING SCHOOL (Special to Time*) TE AWAMUTU, Friday To be injured on the first day of his school life was the unfortunate experience of a 5-years-old Maori child, named Kura, when he was hit by a motor truck at Kihikihi yesterday afternoon about 4 p.m. The truck was travelling past a parked school bus when Kura dashed in front of the bus and was struck by the truck. The child received medical assistance and was able to proceed home. The injuries were ot extensive, as the truck was travelling at a slow speed. m
