SHOULDER STRAINED

UENUKU IN PERTH MAY NOT START TO-MORROW CABLED ADVICE RECEIVED Cabled advice was received by Mrs R. A. McMillan, of Tamahere, to-day that the trotting horse Uenuku has strained a shoulder and may not be sole to compete to-morrow night at Perth, when the second three races for the Inter-Dominion Trotting Championship will be held. Uenuku is at present equal in championship points at the great Perth meeting with Main Derby, this pair being at the top of the table. It will be very unfortunate for the Tamahere sportsman, Mr McMillan, if he cannot get his charge to the post for the second races, as the championship is decided on p’oints.
