ATHLETIC TOUR
AUSTRALIANS INVITED TEAM OF FOUR SUGGESTED An invitation has been sent by the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to the Australian Amateur Athletic Union to send a team of four athletes to tour New Zealand early in the New Year. The team suggested is:—Ryan or Dunn, N.S.W. (sprinters) Backhouse. Victoria (Middle distances), Miller, N.S.W. (broad jump and hop, step and jump), Winter, N.S.W. (pole vault). The proposal is that after their appearance in Wellington on January 27 the team divide, two covering each Island.
