ENGINEER HONOURED
MR G. A. JACKSON FAREWELLED (Special to Times) OTOROHANGA, Wednesday At the conclusion of the Otorohanga County Council meeting yesterday the councillors and staff tendered a farewell to the retiring engineer, Mr Gerald A. Jackson, who had served the county for the past 11 years, at the residence of Mr Walter Bluck, a past chairman of the council.
In presenting Mr Jackson with a travelling rug, the chairman, Mr P. T. Crowley, expressed regret at Mr Jackson’s departure. Mr Jackson suitably replied.
