GRAHAM—CUMMING MAGNOLIA SATIN GOWN St. Columba’s, Taradale, was the scene of a charming and picturesque wedding on October 21, when Margaret Agnes Rachel, eldest daughter of the Rev. J. and Mrs Cumming, The Manse, Taradale, was married to Angus Neil Stewart Graham, fourth son of Mr and Mrs A. Graham, of Hamilton. The church was beautifully decorated for the occasion by Miss E. Alexander. The Rev. S. C. Francis, of St. Paul’s, Napier, performed the ceremony, the wedding music, the weddin gmusic. The bride, who entered the church with her father, the Rev. J. Cumming, was dressed in a magnolia •satin frocks, fashioned with a tightfitting bodice, and buttoned down the back to the waist. The long sleeves finished with points over the hands, the dress flaring to the train. Her beautiful long cream tulle veil was mounted on orange blossom and she wore a pearl necklace and carried a beautiful bouquet of arum lilies and asparagus fern. The bridesmaids were Miss Edith Spiers, of Hamilton, and Miss Helen Cumming, sister of the bride. Both wore dresses of clover taffeta, with puffed sleeves and rucking round the neckline, down the front and around the hem. Their headdresses were clover net veils mounted on head bands of flowers of the same shade. They wore silver girdles and carried bouquets of cyclamen sweet peas, azaleas, and asparagus fern, the gifts of Mrs Pain, of “The Hermitage.” Mr Peter Cumming, brother of the bride, was best man, while Mr lan Manson, of Napier, was groomsman. The church ushers were Messrs W. and D. Inglis. The Reception

After the ceremony a reception was held in St. Columba Hall, where the Rev. and Mrs Cumming received the guests.

Mrs Cumming was wearing a navy blue costume and hat with navy accessories. She carried a bouquet

of red roses, sweet peas and maidenhair fern.

The bride’s travelling dress was of storm blue, with a navy coat, straw hat and accessories to match. They will make their home at Tuai.
