TE AWAMUTU CLUB DRAWS FOR COMPETITIONS (Special to Times) TE AWAMUTU, Wednesday. Following is the draw for the monthly L. medal round and the second round of tho Bryant Vase competition to be played by women members of the Te Awamutu Goir Club: — Mrs Harrison v. Mrs Spiers; Mrs Babbage, sen., v. Miss Glasson; Mrs Eyre v. Mrs Preston; Miss Moir v. Airs Cunningham; Mrs Oliphant v. Mrs Hill; Miss Civil v. Mrs Rawlinson; Mrs Tombs v. Miss Scarre; Mrs McNair v. Mrs Bryant; Mrs Te&*dale v. Mrs Wood; Mrs Regan v. Miss M. Glason; Mrs Howie v. Mrs Ball; Mrs Free v. another; Miss Edgecumbe v. Miss Manson; Miss Maud v. Miss Palmer; Miss Garvey v. The C-grade division will play a consolation medal round, players to choose their own partners. Senior Championship The senior championship was won bv Mrs Glanvtlle who defeated Mrs McDonald after a very evenly contested game toy 2 and 1 . . , The official closing or the winter season will take place on .-atijrday. November 11. and the annual meeting will be held on November 18, prior to which a fourball best-ball competition will toe played, players to choose partners and opponents. A one-day tournament, will be held on Tuesday. on Saturday a consolation bogey handicap will be played toy members or the Te Awamutu Club, and on Sunday an open tournament vtU toe toekL
