Copyright) (Received Sept. 23, 11 a.m.) PARIS, Sept. 22 A communique slates: “There was activity with our contact elements in the regions of Saarbrucken and east of the River Blies. There also was artillery action on both sides of the front. The Ministry of Information states that during air operations on September 20, a German lighter aircraft was shot down by British aircraft in France.
