Mr A. R. Graham, of Blenheim, is visiting Hamilton. Mr A. Thompson is gazetted as registrar of marriages, births and deaths at Kawhia. Mr S. A. Dye, manager of the Civic Theatre, Hamilton, is a visitor to New Plymouth. Mr M. J. Galvin, Inspector of Reserves and Supervisory Fields Inspector for the North Island, is at present in the King Country on his official duties. Mr P. W. Maddock, of Wellington and formerly of Hamilton, general manager of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer N.Z.), Limited, left Auckland yesterday on a business trip to Sydney. Messrs C. 'Swanson (New Plymouth), J. Henderson (Dunedin), S. Marshall (Timaru), J. C. Pettit, C. J. Jacobs .Wellington), N. Foley, and A. I. Johns Auckland) arc at the Hamilton Hotel. Messrs H. A. Young. S.M. (chairman: 11. M. Patrick, H. J. Allan, E. A. Munden, G. W. A. Wilkes, 11. H. Brown, J. P. P. Clouston and H. Robertson, members of the Post and Telegraph Department Appeal Board, arc at present sitting in Hamilton. Flying-Ufiicer A. B. Lindop has been appointed to assist the New Zealand liaison officer at the Air Ministry, London, lie will occupy the post for 12 months, after which he will attend courses of instruction in equipment and accounting duties, iu the United Kingdom.
