BULLET IN THROAT
ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING OHAKUNE, Monday Mr Jack Groves, aged about 30, single, of Rangataua, is in a serious condition in the Taumarunui Hospital, having been accidentally shot in the jaw, which was shattered, the bullet lodging in his throat. Several men were practising with a pea-rifle, and Mr Groves, after adjusting the target, emerged from behind a building just as one man fired.
