CUP RETAINED TAUPIRI BEATS CAMBRIDGE (Special to Times) TAUPIRI, Sunday The last challenge match of the season for the Cucksey Cup was played at Taupiri on Saturday between Cambridge (challengersj and Taupiri (holders). The game was won by Taupiri by 9 points to 3. after a very even game played on a soft ground. The backs were evenly matched but Hie home forwards held a slight advantage throughout. Lord kicked a penalty goal for Cambridge and Taup.ri's points resulted from a try by Curnow and two penalty goals by Burke.
