FLIGHT FROM ’FRISCO
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE DUE AUCKLAND AUGUST 29 (By Telegraph.—Press Association) AUCKLAND, Saturday In anouncing the schedule for the first Pan-American flight since the tragic loss of the Samoan Clipper last year. Mr Harold Catty, the New Zealand representative, said to-day that the giant plane California Clipper will leave San Francisco on Tuesday, and l!y to a schedule which will bring her to Auckland on Tuesday. August 29. He emphasised that the flight essentially is for survey purposes by the company’s representatives and United States Government observers to report on the new bases at Canton Island and Noumea, and i;' tiie.se ufih-ials desired to stop longer at any base then their wishes would he met. Thus the schedule might be altered.
