BIFORM WINS ATTRACTIVELY VALMINT IN THE JELLICOE SUCCESS OF GAINE S CHOICE The success of Biform in the Pakuranga Hunt Cup, in which he finished on attractively to wear down the Tc Hapa representative, Saint Musk, and the achievement of Yalmint in winning the chief fiat event were features of the annual gathering of the Pakuranga Hunt fixture at Ellerslie on Saturday. Baint Musk, who is now trained at Te Rapa by J. Tutchen. made a determined bid to win the principal event or the day. but was outstayed by the consistent Biform in the final stages. Biform in his last 12 starts has been out of the money on only two occasions and to-day’s success was a just award of consistency over the past 12 months. Racing over the water jump Roxy was showing out from Saint Musk, Mahala, London, Tea Ghat, Bilorm and Bells or Bow. At the completion of a rurther iound Saint Musk was followed over the double by Roxy, London, Wykemist, Bridegroom, Biforni, Bells or Bow and Mahala. Saint .Musk led along the back and at the hair-mile was six lengths in charge Horn Wykemist, Birorm, Roxy, Bridegroom and Mahala. Birorm then commenced to ass»*rt himself and as the field straightened up for borne he was within a couple or lengths or Saint Musk, with Wykemist. British Sovereign and Bridegroom in that order. In the run home. Bilorm and Saint Musk staged a stirring finish, Bilorm, bard ridden, finishing on under the judge's box to get the verdict by I 4 lengths from Saint 'lu-k with Briti.'h Sovereign seven lengths away third.
