Today I picked a fragrant buttonhole of violets so Lady Spring is surely on her way now, says Voila Newton. Peter sees tiny green shoots in his tulip bed and hyacinths are showing the tips of their waxen petals. The trees are just bursting into leaf, says lan Webster, and tiny touches of green are to be seen everywhere. Heather Haicrow says there are tiny white and pale pink buds on our heather plants and so pretty they look too. This morning I discovered a jonquil in a shady corner and it looked so pretty, says Fay Newton.
