SUCCESSFUL BALL

HAMILTON GOLF CLUB MOST ENJOYABLE FUNCTION Heralded by many jolly cocktail and dinner parties, the annual ball sponsored by the president and members of the Hamilton Golf Club was held in the Club House last night, the function as usual being an unqualified success. No detail had been overlooked in the preparations for the occasion, and much of the credit for the success achieved was undoubtedly due to the elllcient and hard-working committee. ( Multi-coloured lights along the ap- ! proach to the clubhouse and across j tlie front lent a charming gala air, while inside a complete transformation ! scene had taken place. in the ball- ' room and the lounges emerald green and yellow streamers were suspended from circular centrepieces to the four corners, and blended pleasantly with masses of punga fronds, which were in the "nineteenth hole” a delicious 1 buffet supper was served, the tables being charmingly decorated with bowls ; of Iceland poppies and spring llowers. i The Hostesses The guests were received by Mr ; and Mrs S.
