Banking department—Rest £3,600,000, public deposits £27,500,000, bankers’ deposits £94.700,000, other accounts £35,700,000, Government securities £111,600,000, discounts and ad- i vances £5,900,000, other securities £23,500,000, notes and coin, £35,000,i 000. The ratio of reserve to liabilities ■ 22.13 per cent. The Bank of England discount rate remains unchanged at 2 per cent.
