Dr. Maurice Ewing, noted English geologist, has devised a means of submarine exploration along the lines auopted by oil prospectors and intends to look for the lo6t continent of Appalachia, beneath the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. He will sink small charges of T.N.T., detonate them by electricity, and record the vibratlont when they are reflected back from the rocky bed.
