DELIBERATIONS OF OOUNCIL GREAT UNITY OF PURPOSE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) LONDON, August 16 The deliberations of the High Council of the Salvation Army were continued today, and an official statement explains that it has been found necessary “in view of the importance of the issue”—the election ol' a new general for the army and constitutional questions connected therewith—“carefully to explore many points which have a claim on the council's consideration.” The statement adds: “Une of the most outstanding features of the whole proceedings is the unity of purpose and readiness to view matters from every angle by all members, cominig as they do from all parts of the world.” A NINE-HOUR SESSION ADJOURNMENT OF COUNCIL united Press Assn.—Elec.
