SPECIAL FORECAST (By Government Meteorologist) The special forecast by the Government Meteorologist, covering the Waikato-Thames Valley Is as follows: General situation: Yesterday s depression has moved away to the east and another is now centred east or Tasmania. Forecast: Moderate to strong but decreasing westerly winds. Weather changeable with occasional showers and bright intervals. Temperatures moderate. Seas rough on west coast; moderate on east coast.
