OCEAN SURVEY FLIGHT
OPERATIONS OF THE GUBA GOOD FLYING-BOAT BASES United Prp*?« Assn.—Elf-c. Tel Copyright) (Received June 16, 3.15 p.m.) DIEGO GARCIA, June 15 A message from the Commonwealth correspondent on the Cuba states that a survey of the lagoon showed that it is of great value as a flying-boat base. Diego Garcia also has an area suitable for an aerodrome. As the first two Indian Ocean Island bases already surveyed are very suitable for the establishment of flyingboat bases it now only remains to make a flight of inspection of the Seychelle Islands.
The Guba will leave at midnight to morrow for Malie Island.
