INTOXICATED MOTORIST (By Telftirran’i *"•••“«« Association) AUCKLAND, Thursday A contractor. Joseph William MeCarroll. was lined £25 and his license suspended for a year for being intoxicated while in charge of a motor-car on the Great North Road on the night of June 7. The evidence showed that the car, while taking a bend, collided with a stationary car. The magistrate said the evidence of the prosecution had not been shaken. However, it was a mild case of intoxication and a fine would be imposed.
